​Suitable for families, groups, birthdays, team-building or individuals looking for a fun day-out. Available in half and full days, try rock climbing outside with a fully qualified professional instructor. The day will include instruction in all basic climbing skills to get you competent and also experience abseiling.

We have ample personal and specialist equipment like harnesses, helmets, climbing rack and ropes available. You are welcome to use your own equipment if they're suitable, a complete kitlist will be sent out ahead of time. A typical kit-list can be found here.

Snowdonia is our play ground from the stunning views of South Stack on Anglesey/Ynys Mon to the lakeside crags underneath Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa, we'll try to situate a venue to minimise your travel whilst still keeping a watchful eye on where best fits the weather.

I run almost all the course myself, I hold the Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor qualification, the highest non-winter climbing award. I've been climbing for nearly 20years and worked with a range of clients of all ability and social backgrounds. For groups larger than 6, an additional experienced instructor will be needed to join us.

• What happens if I fall? You'll be tied into the rope and on belay safe the whole time, when weighting the rope you might sink 20-40cm at most.

• What if I don't have any climbing shoes or equipment? We provide all specialist equipment, shoes can also be rented if required.

• What if it's raining? The microclimates of North Wales mean that within a 30 minute drive somewhere dry can be found, or we might delay the start of the day to avoid the worst. If it's horrific weather as an absolute last resort, there are still things we can practice indoors
